El trabajo se centra en el análisis de la futura evolución de dos variables clave: la tasa de actividad laboral y la productividad laboral. Para ello, se analiza en primer lugar la evolución reciente de ambas variables, desagregando por tres dimensiones que resultan clave: edad, sexo y nivel educativo.
