This workshop has been organized in collaboration with global partners to provide the aforementioned stakeholders with critical update on developments across the globe in the areas of financial technology (FinTech) and Digital Financial Services (DFS). It is very important that the sessions be grounded in the local and regional context hence the workshop will include participation of regional bodies which have been researching these areas such as the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and UNECLAC.
One day prior to the “Innovation in Transactions & Financing” Workshop, ITU in collaboration with Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT), will hold a one (1) day regional Training Workshop on ITU Information and Communications Technology Indicators, at the same venue on 31st May, 2016. You are therefore also invited to participate in this one day Caribbean forum.
