At the twenty-first meeting of the Executive Committee of the SCA, statistical authorities from the region focused on strengthening the production of official data to address post-pandemic challenges and advance the 2030 Agenda.
In addition, the side-event Seminar Beyond GDP: statistical challenges of measuring development was address the prospects for improving the measurement of GDP as part of the 2025 update of the System of National Accounts as well as possible complementary indicators for measuring the well-being of people and the planet.
