CARIBBEAN ACADEMIC FORUM. Contributions to the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean: Advancing Towards Care Societies
The Caribbean Academic Forum, titled Contributions to the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean: Advancing Towards Care Societies, will be held at the University of West Indies in Bridgetown, Barbados, on the 25th and 26th of March 2025.
Caribbean preparatory meeting of the XVI session of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean (hybrid format)
The Caribbean preparatory meeting of the XVI session of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in hybrid format (in person and virtually), at the University of the West Indies, Bridgetown, Barbados, on 27 March 2025, between 11.00 to 14.00 p.m. (Barbados time, GMT-4).

ECLAC and ILO Call on Countries in the Region to Adopt Regulations to Increase Time for Care in Latin America and the Caribbean
Today, the two United Nations organizations launched a bulletin titled Time for care in Latin America and the Caribbean: Towards social and gender co-responsibility.

The Division for Gender Affairs presented the Regional Gender Agenda and the concept of the Care Society during the high-level dialogue: "Towards a Roadmap for the Care Economy in the Arab region."
The high-level dialogue took place on February 18 and 19 in Amman, Jordan. The event was organized by the Arab Women Organization (AWO), in collaboration with UN Women, UN ESCWA, and the ILO.

Regional dialogue to guide care policies with a gender, intercultural, intersectional, and territorial approach
From December 11 to 12, the "Working Meeting on Guiding Principles for Care Policies from a Gender, Intercultural, Intersectional, and Territorial Perspective" was held in Montevideo, Uruguay.
