El presente documento desarrolla una mirada político-institucional sobre los procesos de globalización y pone énfasis en el papel de todos los diversos actores que intervienen en las distintas dinámicas globales (inclusive las económicas); provocando cambios en las relaciones de género. El trabajo busca esclarecer la influencia de los cambios institucionales sobre las relaciones de género, así como la participación de los movimientos de mujeres en el debilitamiento de las convenciones y la generación de nuevas institucionalidades.
