The Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES)meet every two years to review the progress of work and fulfilment of the resolutions adopted by the Council, the main intergovernmental body steering the work of the Institute.
The twenty-ninth meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES), will be held on 19 January 2023, in Santiago, Chile (hybrid meeting). The meeting of the Presiding Officers will be preceded by the seventeenth Conference of Ministers and Heads of Planning of Latin America and the Caribbean, to be held on 17 and 18 January, which convenes experts, senior planning authorities and representatives of the public, to examine and discuss the practice, experience and outlook regarding planning in the region (hybrid meeting).
