La especialización sectorial, un determinante clave de la brecha de productividad entre mipymes y grandes empresas: el caso de México

América Latina y el Caribe se caracteriza por una gran heterogeneidad en niveles de productividad laboral entre los sectores y dentro de ellos. Este documento contribuye a la comprensión de las brechas de productividad entre las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (mipymes) y las grandes empresas a partir del caso de México. En el documento se realiza una estimación de los factores que determinan esta brecha de productividad entre empresas de distinto tamaño en el año 2013, a través de un modelo Oaxaca-Blinder acompañado de una descomposición de Owen y Shapley.
