The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will present on Tuesday, May 12, its Special Report COVID-19 No. 3 on monitoring the economic and social effects of the coronavirus in the region, entitled The social challenge in times of COVID-19.
This new document – the third in a series that examines the evolution of the pandemic and its effects in the region – will include an estimate of the social impact and related challenges that the current crisis will have for the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, in 2020 as well as in the medium and long term.
