The scheduled agenda for the Seminar will be focused on the revision issues of the 2008 SNA in relation to globalization and economic well-being and sustainability. There will also be a space designated for the presentation of the integrated economic statistics systems of the region and a session for the review of the actions of the national accounts offices in the context of the COVID19 pandemic.
The activities of the SCA working group on prices and volume of services activities and the presentation of the regional results of the International Comparison Program (ICP) will also be reviewed.
This Seminar is a high-level meeting, which calls for the participation of staff with managerial and/or technical responsibility in the area of national accounts to contribute in the discussions on emerging issues of national accounts and the state of the national accounts statistics in the región.
