Las exportaciones de Perú a la Unión Europea en el primer semestre de 2013 cayeron 20,3%

(11 de septiembre, 2013) La Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) aclara a la opinión pública las estimaciones sobre las exportaciones de Perú a la Unión Europea incluidas en su informe anual Panorama de la Inserción Internacional de América Latina y el Caribe 2013, cuyo lanzamiento se realizó el 10 de septiembre en la sede del organismo en Santiago de Chile. Durante el primer semestre de 2013, las exportaciones de Perú hacia la Unión Europea, en lugar de aumentar 30,2% como se observa en el documento, registraron una caída de 20,3%. Latin American and Caribbean Exports Fell 24% in 2009 Due to Crisis

(7 January 2010) The value of total exports from Latin America and the Caribbean in 2009 fell 24% with regard to the previous year due to the global crisis, according to new estimates released by ECLAC. According to the study International Trade in Latin America and the Caribbean 2009: Crisis and Recovery, the value of imports also decreased 25%. Although both exports and imports diminished significantly, the drop is milder than that experienced during the first semester of 2009 (-31% and -29%, respectively), implying a better outlook for 2010.
