The Regional Council for Planning elects Presiding Officers, who meet regularly to review the progress of work and the fulfilment of agreements adopted with regard to training, technical cooperation and research, as well as diverse matters relating to the operation and administration of the Institute. Nineteenth meeting of the Regional Council for Planning of ILPES

The Regional Council for Planning is a subsidiary body of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and governs the activities of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES). The member States of the Institute are represented at the meetings of the Council by their ministers or heads of planning. The agreements of the Council are set forth in resolutions, which are ratified by ECLAC at its biennial sessions.…
