In the field of economic statistics, the Statistics Division promotes conceptual and methodological development of economic statistics and indicators in Latin America and the Caribbean, disseminates comparable information at a regional level and provides technical assistance and training to countries in the region.

Este taller busca sensibilizar a las áreas del MINCAP sobre la importancia de cuantificar los recursos económicos destinados a la cultura en Chile, identificando información relevante para compilar las Cuentas Satélite de Cultura (CSC) y realizando un ejercicio exploratorio con los datos disponibles. Además, se busca establecer una colaboración estable entre los servicios públicos involucrados para facilitar este trabajo conjunto.

La Cooperación Sur-Sur (CSS) es una forma de colaboración entre países del Sur Global, basada en la solidaridad y el aprendizaje mutuo. Esta cooperación juega un papel importante en el logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), ya que ayuda a movilizar recursos y compartir soluciones. Medir su impacto permite saber cuánto contribuye al cumplimiento de la Agenda 2030 y cómo hacerla más efectiva.
