Li Keqiang, the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, will give a keynote lecture on Monday, May 25, at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile, where he will be received by the Executive Secretary of the regional United Nations organization, Alicia Bárcena. The Republic of Korea and Latin America and the Caribbean Strengthen Investment and Trade Ties
(April 22, 2015) The investment and trade ties between Latin America and the Caribbean and the Republic of Korea have grown stronger in recent years, according to a new publication by ECLAC released today in Santiago, Chile. According to the study, the Republic of Korea has become a significant source of foreign direct investment (FDI) for the region, even surpassing China between 2000 and 2011.
