The webinar “Production Capacity of Electric Buses in Latin America,” held by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) on June 9, 2022, brought together experts and leaders from Latin America’s automotive industry to discuss the challenges, opportunities and trends for the sustainable urban mobility sector and the possibilities for integration in the production chain.

El lunes 05 de abril, la CEPAL inauguró el Curso Superior en Asuntos Marítimos que será dictado vía online, que tiene como objetivo capacitar, actualizar y perfeccionar a los estudiantes en asuntos portuarios y marítimos. El curso tiene orientación de género y el estudiante deberá ser presentado por una organización nacional WISTA, la red MAMLA, o la CEPAL. Mayoritariamente las candidaturas que se espera recibir serán de mujeres, pero no se descarta que también pueda haber hombres tomando los cursos.
