This third meeting of the statistical coordination group for the 2030 Agenda in Latin America and the Caribbean is proposed as a space for reflection among the countries, agencies, funds and programs of the United Nations System that operate in the region and the United Nations Secretariat, around strategic issues of statistical monitoring of the SDGs in the region.

The meeting is organized in three main blocks:

1. Gathering information on national capacities to produce the SDG indicators and on capacity building activities.
2. Activities to be addressed by the group to improve the monitoring and follow-up of the 2030 Agenda at regional level.
3. Ongoing activities within the IAEG-SDGs and the HLG-PCCB: How to involve the countries of the region in strategic issues?
