Academic Forum on Care Begins in Preparation for the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean
Representatives from universities, academic networks, governments, civil society especially women’s and feminist organizations—and international organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate in this regional space for exchange and dialogue on the research agenda necessary to address the challenges of care policies in the region.

ECLAC and the Government of Argentina Signed Agreement for Holding the XV Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean
On November 7-11, Argentina will host the region’s main intergovernmental forum on women’s rights and gender equality, the theme of which will be “The care society: a horizon for sustainable recovery with gender equality.” The gathering is organized by ECLAC in coordination with UN Women and the host country.
