The Twenty-Two meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) was held within the framework of the thirtieth session of ECLAC, in accordance with resolution 581 (XXVIII), which stipulates that meetings held in the same year that ECLAC holds its session shall be carried out within the framework of this meeting.

The Twenty-second meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (MD / CRP) was held within the framework of the thirty-seventh session of ECLAC. During this meeting the Activity Report for the period January 2002 to December 2003 was examined; A summary of the work of ILPES as the central training body of ECLAC during 2003 was presented and the document entitled "The panorama of public management" in its first version was presented. At the end of the meeting, the representatives of member governments adopted several resolutions.
