The thirtieth session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 28 June to 2 July 2004. Pursuant to resolution 596(XXIX) as adopted at the twenty-ninth session of ECLAC (Brasilia, Brazil, 6-10 May 2002), member States agreed that the meeting would be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
