Inter-regional workshop “Strengthening statistical capacities for building macroeconomic and sustainable development Indicators in Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia-Pacific countries

Organized jointly by the Statistical Divisions of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, ECLAC and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia, ESCAP.

The aim of this workshop is to share of the result of “Development Account Tranche 9” about the implementation of System of National Accounts 2008 (SNA 2008) and the System of Environmental - Economic Accounting 2012 (SEEA 2012) in both regions. Further, define the guidelines of the national and the regional plans, synergies with other projects and challenges to comply with the Agenda 2030.

The countries that will be participating in the workshops are: Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Curaçao, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vanuatu, Mongolia and Fiji.
