Time use
La medición periódica del uso del tiempo es crucial para reconocer y analizar las desigualdades de género y obtener información relevante para superar la división sexual del trabajo, implementar políticas públicas y transitar hacia la sociedad del cuidado. Permite contabilizar el trabajo no remunerado que realizan desproporcionadamente las mujeres, valorar el cuidado como una necesidad, un trabajo y un derecho y estimar los efectos multiplicadores de impulsar la economía del cuidado en el bienestar de la sociedad.
