Social investment/spending

The aims of the Social Development Division include assessment and analysis of the social situation of the population of Latin America and the Caribbean and examination of social policy management and impact. In this connection, one of the Division’s priorities is tracking and analysing the resources going to fund social policy and household spending on social services in the countries of the region.
