Labour inclusion

Work is the master key to equality, the axis of social and economic integration, overcoming poverty, and the key mechanism for transformative recovery. However, the world of work can also produce and exacerbate inequalities. In this sense, it is imperative that labor inclusion takes place under decent working conditions, where labor and contributory pension incomes exceed the poverty line, in line with Goal 8 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ("Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all") and with the Regional Agenda for Inclusive Social Development approved by ECLAC Member States.
