As an internationally recognised hub of expertise, the European programme delivers on key areas of the energy transition: energy planning, on- and off-grid regulation and markets, and renewable energy grid integration. Deriving global best practices and adapting standardised tools to local needs, GET.transform enables partner countries and regions to develop conducive framework conditions for large-scale clean energy deployment. GET.transform is part of the European multi-donor platform Global Energy Transformation Programme (GET.pro), and supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Austria. GET.transform supports CEPAL in implementing the Regional Forum of Energy Planners, or FOREPLEN, its acronym in Spanish.
