Sally Shaw
Ms. Sally Shaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Languages (Interpreting and Translating), specializing in French and Spanish, from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom. She joined the Documents and Publications Division at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in 2000. She served as Chief of the English Editorial and Translation Service from 2010 to 2020. Since 2020, she has been Chief of the Documents and Publications Division.
Before her tenure at ECLAC, Ms. Shaw worked as a staff translator and chef de cabinet at the Inter-American Regional Office of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, and as a translator at the Customs Cooperation Council (now the World Customs Organization).
