The island of Aruba took its census in the week of September 29- October 6, 2010. On September 29th 2011, exactly one year after census moment, a set of 103 census tables was released.

The selected tables and other pre-defined articles, paper and analysis are downloadable from ://cbs.aw/wp. The information gathered during this project was converted to a format compliant to REDATAM. This program is used for the 2010 census query system for the web-end user to create or generate her/his own custom tables. The system can be use following this link:

Registration is now open for the online regional workshop: Measurement of SDG indicators and follow-up of the 2030 Development Agenda through the processing of census data with REDATAM and mapping with QGis

Classes will be taught by modules of three hours daily, for six days, and will be streamed using the Teams platform. They will focus on the processing, analysis and mapping of indicators from population and housing censuses using Redatam and QGis with the goal of learning their functionalities. We will explore the potential offered by censuses in the generation of indicators for monitoring the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs.

CARIBBEAN: Online regional training workshop on measuring indicators for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through the use of census data with REDATAM and mapping with QGis.

During the week of November 8th to 15th, for six days, a virtual workshop was held for the Caribbean countries. This was organized jointly by CELADE-Population Division of UN ECLAC and the Regional Office of UN ECLAC for the Caribbean. There were 33 participants from the National Statistical Offices of Barbados, Belize, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Montserrat, Bahamas, Dominica, Suriname, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Vincent & Grenadines and Montserrat.

Online Redatam workshop: Use and processing of census data for the creation of the Agenda 2030 and SDG follow-up indicators

Registrations are open for a new version of the Redatam workshop that will be held virtually from May 4th to 11th, 2021. This workshop will focus on the use of Redatam to process census information to learn the functionality of the software and explore the potentialities offered by the censuses to obtain specific SDG and follow up indicators.
