The “International Seminar for the Exchange of Best Practices in Land Administration” is an initiative presented to the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH), within the framework of the Technical Assistance Programs (TAP) 2024-2025. This initiative addresses the various topics underlying land administration and how countries or institutions have approached them, in order to generate synergies and disseminate successful cases.
Objective:
Strengthen land management in the region through the exchange of best practices, knowledge, and experiences related to territorial management and its tools, thereby promoting a more effective, sustainable, and equitable land administration.
Specific objectives:
- Promote the Exchange of Knowledge and Experiences: Create a collaborative space for experts and professionals from different sectors to share and discuss practices and solutions in land management, highlighting topics such as multipurpose cadastre, use of technologies, data integration, and more.
- Encourage the Creation of Alliances and Regional Cooperation Networks: Foster and facilitate the establishment of networks among participants from various institutions to enable knowledge exchange and collaboration in land administration, effectively addressing regional and cross-border challenges.
