How to Follow ECLAC’s Session in Mexico

All of those interested in the region’s development will be able to join the live broadcast and participate in the conversation on social media with the hashtags #Horizontes2030 and #Horizons2030.

On May 23-27, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will hold in Mexico City its thirty-sixth session, the most important biannual meeting of this United Nations organization, whose mandate is to contribute to the region’s economic, social and environmental development.

Live broadcast

The entire meeting will be broadcast live via the Web site created for this occasion: ://periododesesiones.cepal.org/36/en, which also provides general information about the event, the detailed programme, reference documents and all the news. Any media outlet or organization is free to replicate the broadcast on their own Web sites. See: ://periododesesiones.cepal.org/36/en/live-transmission.

Mobile Application

Twitter

We will be tweeting in English and Spanish from the institutional accounts, @cepal_onu and @eclac_un, using the hashtags #Horizontes2030 and #Horizons2030, which refer to the document Horizons 2030: Equality at the Centre of Sustainable Development, which will be officially presented on Thursday, May 26. We will also use the hashtags #CEPAL and #ECLAC and others such as #Agenda2030 and #2030Agenda and #ODS and #SDGs.
