To guide young people in Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts & Nevis, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines into seeing tourism not as something that only large tour companies, hotels and cruise ships run, but as something they too can do, while placing them on a path to self-sustainability.

The workshops will show them how to:
- Use their own culture, experiences, stories, and skills to develop a tour product.
- Use digital tools, including AI, to create and market tours with little or no budget.

2. Areas of Focus
Tourism Landscape & Opportunities (per country) - Antigua & Barbuda:
- Sees 1M+ cruise arrivals annually, but most passengers stay in port.
- There is room for youth-led walking tours, fort heritage, and village food walks.
- Dominica:
- Called “The Nature Island”. Hiking & eco-tourism are strong.
- There may be opportunities for youth-led guides in Kalinago heritage and
herbal medicine.
- Grenada:
- Tourism is rebounding (over 180,000 arrivals in 2023).
- Known as the “Spice Island”, branding means that cocoa, nutmeg, and food
experiences have growth potential.
- Saint Lucia:
- A very popular wedding & honeymoon destination (15–20% of arrivals).
- Opportunities for youth may exist via the creation of small rum, fishing villages,
and music tours to tap into growing cultural demand.
- Saint Kitts & Nevis:
- Cruise arrivals: about 700,000.
- There is a high demand for sugar heritage storytelling, rum-tasting, and walking
tours.
- Saint Vincent & the Grenadines:
- This is a sailing/diving mecca. Visitors, however, seek local food, drumming, and
