Webinar "The significant participation of the public in the Escazú Agreement in preparation for its entry into force: proposals and inputs"

The elected representatives of the public and ECLAC invite the public to participate in the discussions to draft proposals for the significant participation of the public in the implementation of the Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean (Escazú Agreement).

The elected representatives of the public, with the support of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), in its capacity as Secretariat, invite the public to actively participate in the discussions to ensure the significant participation of the public in the bodies of the Escazú Agreement.

To that end, two webinars will be held where the representatives of the public will share their preliminary proposals and inputs received by persons and organizations from the Latin American and Caribbean region.

The virtual sessions will take place as follows:
