At this meeting, the Executive Committee reviewed the status of implementation of the Biennial programme of regional and international cooperation activities 2014-2015, adopted by the Statistical Conference of the Americas at its seventh meeting by virtue of resolution 8(VII), and the agreements adopted at the twelfth meeting of the Executive Committee. The Committee reviewed the status of the plans of action drawn up by the working groups and will assess the possibility of improving their operations; discussions also began on the criteria for determining the new strategic plan for the Statistical Conference of the Americas of ECLAC. The meeting's agenda included the holding of a seminar on strategies for the use of administrative records for statistical purposes.
