Seminar: Analysis of Value Chains from the Andean Product Subregional Input Output Table (IOT) and the South American IOT 2005-2011

This seminar presented the methodology followed to assemble the 2005 South American Input Output Table (IOT), and the 2005 and 2011 versions of the Andean Community subregional IOT, as well as that corresponding national IOT. Similarly, ECLAC presented a set of results obtained from the Andean Community subregional IOT, as well as methodological details that allow for the use of the South American and Andean Community IOTs as tools for economic analysis. In addition, the seminar included presentations by the Institute of Advanced Studies in Development, the National Institute of Statistics of Bolivia, the Ministry of Productive Development and Plural Economy of Bolivia and the Secretariat of the Andean Community.

The seminar was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia with the participation of Ministry officials, as well as national customs authorities and officials of the Andean Community Secretariat, among others.
