Open virtual meeting of the open-ended ad hoc working group on human rights defenders in environmental matters

The objective of the meeting will be to share the results of the consultation on the annotated index of the action plan on human rights defenders in environmental matters in Latin America and the Caribbean and the proposals for improvement of the index based thereon, so as to advance in the preparation of the draft action plan.

The Secretariat will also inform about the organization of the Second Annual Forum on Human Rights Defenders in Environmental Matters that will take place in Panama City between 26 and 28 September 2023.
