The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) held the Conference on Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean: Follow-up to the development agenda beyond 2015 and Rio+20 in the Monserrate Conference Room of the Crowne Plaza Tequendama Hotel in Bógota, Colombia on 7-9 of March 2013.

The meeting focused on development goals, global and regional governance and the discussion, from a regional perspective, of agreements adopted in order to inform the ongoing global processes. This conference was preceded by the Caribbean Forum: Shaping a Sustainable Development Agenda to address the Caribbean Reality in the 21st Century, on 5-6 of March 2013 in the Esmeralda Conference Room of the same hotel.
