Childhood and adolescence
The Social Development Division’s work on childhood and adolescence focuses on raising awareness of the situation of children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean from a rights-based perspective. To this end, the Division produces and systematizes information on child poverty, children’s access to social protection and policies conducive to improving their living conditions and affording them stronger exercise of citizenship.
