A group of approximately 30 parliamentarians and experts from the Finnish Parliament’s Committee for the Future visited the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. There they met with the institution’s Deputy Executive Secretary, Antonio Prado, and learned about the United Nations organization’s main lines of work in the region.

The applications process for the sixteenth session of the Summer School on Latin American Economies began on Monday, February 23. The training program is organized annually by the Division of Production, Productivity and Management of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and it is aimed at young researchers interested in studying the Latin American development process.
