In this issue of the Demographic Bulletin the results of the population projections at rural - urban level are presented for separate Latin American countries and for the region as a whole. The projections presented in this issue correspond with those published by CELADE in the Demographic Bulletin No. 34, July 1984. The information at country level is presented at five year intervals for the period 1970 - 2000 and specified by sex and quinquennial age groups. Absolute population numbers are presented in the tables as well as the percentages urban and the demographic indicators for the urban and rural population.
