Social development
The Social Development Unit aims to promote the full exercise of economic, social, and cultural rights of subregional inhabitants through specialized research, public policy formulation, and relevant legislation. To this end, it generates quantitative data and research to identify and analyze inequality gaps across social, territorial, and demographic dimensions. Its findings support the diagnosis of key challenges and the proposal of solutions through pro-equality policy recommendations, technical assistance, and capacity-building initiatives for requesting countries.
