In this Webinar Gimena del Rio (CONICET-Argentina) invited us to review the concept of digital humanities, the culture and research process of communities in the social and human sciences; and the challenges of incorporating the values and principles of Open Science in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Speaker
Gimena del Río Riande (http://orcid.org/0000-0002-8997-5415) is an Associate Researcher at the Institute for Bibliographic Research and Textual Criticism, IIBICRIT-CONICET. She is a Doctor in Romanesque Philology and a Master in Literary Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid, Expert in Research and Recovery of Literary Heritage from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a Bachelor and Professor in Letters from the University of Buenos Aires. He directs the Laboratory of Digital Humanities in CAICYT of CONICET (HD CAICYT), co-directs the Journal of Digital Humanities and the Master of Digital Humanities of the UNED (Madrid, Spain).
