23 October 2019|Briefing note

Its open access week and we want to connect you with scholarly resources.

The ECLAC Digital Repository contains all of ECLAC publications since 1948. Many reports and projects that are no longer in print can be found here in digital format. Moreover, the digital repository contains the most up-to-date content as documents are added daily to the database. To date, there are more than 45,000 digital publications in the repository. It is easy to search, find and download institutional books, annual reports, co-editions, series, magazines, newsletters and conferences.

Users can:

  • Filter search results by document types, language, date or subject
  • Select one out of many different document formats types: PDF, TXT, RDF, XML and CSV
  • Choose to search by bibliographic level for an entire document or part of it
  • Save and share queries or custom lists of documents
  • Search inside specific collections

The documents in the Digital Repository provide a snapshot of ECLACs thinking over the years and by its very existence seeks to increase the visibility and impact of ECLAC's work in the region. The repository facilitates free and open access to the Commission’s resources for staff and continues to be a key research tool for researchers within the region and around the world. It contributes to the sustainable preservation of ECLAC’s intellectual output.
