At the 51st Meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, which will take place in November in Santiago, Chile, a special session will be held to review the achievements and challenges on gender issues in the region.
The Third International Conference on SIDS will take place from 1-4 September 2014 in Apia, Independent State of Samoa. ECLAC will also participate in two main side events during the event.
