The ECLAC Hernán Santa Cruz Library makes the ECLAC Digital Repository readily available to the global community through open access.

The ECLAC Digital Repository provides an entry point to more than 44,300 digital assets, from the first ECLAC publication in 1948 to the most recent documents. The ECLAC Library shares ECLAC’s intellectual heritage with other institutions and repositories through the interoperable protocol (OAI-PMH).

The digital repositories of other institutions can harvest the information from our Digital Repository and share ECLAC's collections with their audiences. Currently, six repositories provide access to ECLAC resources, making ECLAC knowledge products available to their communities:

• Research Papers in Economics (RePEc)
• Latin-American Energy Organization (OLADE)
• Alliance of Agricultural Information Services of Americas (SIDALC)
• Library Cámara de comercio de Bogotá
• WHO COVID-19 Research Database (WHO)
• Primo VE (Library multi-search engine)

The ECLAC Library works to facilitate access to information and promote open access as one of the pillars of open science. The Repository provides the final versions of documents and publications, co-editions, and co-publications with other institutions free of charge. In general, all documents that are part of the heritage of the Commission are preserved in the Digital Repository.
