The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), within the framework of the EUROCLIMA + programme of the European Union, will hold a training workshop on the experience of Colombia in the construction of the "Municipal Index of disaster risk adjusted by capacities" and the "Analysis of vulnerability and risk due to climate change".
The event will take place at the ECLAC headquarters in Santiago, Chile, on December 18 and 19, and is aimed at decision-makers linked to the Ministries of Environment and / or Planning, the directions of climate change, the national risk management mechanisms and national focal points of the EUROCLIMA + program. The objective of the workshop is to understand the process of implementing management tools for adaptation to climate change, which are key to decision-making and planning at the municipal and departmental levels.
