We have the honour to invite you to the series of lectures by distinguished scholars to be held in 2023 and 2024 as part of the commemoration of the seventy-fifth anniversary of ECLAC.

As part of its special commemorative activities, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has organized in 2023 and 2024 a 75th Anniversary Lecture Series, in which important scholars and innovators in their respective fields will share their visions and ideas on the challenges facing the world and the region, and how to foster a more productive, inclusive and sustainable development for Latin America and the Caribbean..
The commemoration of ECLAC’s 75th anniversary includes the launch of a special website that explores the organization’s origins, the evolution of its thinking and current institutional priorities. The website offers a selection of photographs of illustrious guests and of ECLAC’s staff and building – which is considered a landmark of modern Latin American architecture – in addition to other informational resources about this United Nations regional commission.
See the attached infographic on the 2023-2024 Lecture Series for details.
