Elyx, “digital ambassador” for the United Nations (UN) is visiting Chile on 17 August. This visit is part of a 70-day virtual trip around the world to highlight UN efforts and build momentum for the organization’s 70th anniversary.

While in Chile, you can follow Elyx’s journey exploring the country on www.Elyx70Days.org and through social media #UN70 #Elyx70Days.  From Elyx’s start in Paris on 15 August to a final stop at the UN Headquarters in New York on 24 October, visitors can check daily where Elyx has travelled.

Who is Elyx?

Elyx has been helping the UN highlight international observances over the past year and even met UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon this past June. The creation of the renowned French artist YAK, Elyx transcending boundaries, has no race, sex, nationality, nor need for words.
