ECLAC Began Training Program for Public Officials in Argentina

In May, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) began a training program in quantitative analysis techniques for public administration officials in Argentina. The program is made up of five independent courses of a theoretical-practical nature, which will be implemented as workshops with an emphasis on the application of the concepts and techniques presented via software that corresponds specifically to each one. The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has announced the start of the application process for the 2017 Summer School on Latin American Economies, a training programme for young researchers interested in studying Latin America’s development process. Young researchers interested in studying the Latin American development process can apply to the seventeenth session of the Summer School on Latin American Economies, organized annually by the Division of Production, Productivity and Management of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
