The School of Latin American Development Studies (ELADES) of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) launched the application period for the twenty-second edition of its Study Program on Latin American Economies, which each year brings together young researchers, graduates and/or postgraduates interested in studying the Latin American development process. Economic Performance of Latin American and Caribbean Countries during 2017 will Be Analized in New ECLAC Report

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will present next Thursday, 3 August, its Economic Survey of Latin America and the Caribbean 2017, a publication updating growth estimates for the region’s countries in the current year. ECLAC’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, will present the report during a press conference that will be held at 11:00 a.m. (GMT – 04:00) at the organization’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile, and will be broadcast live via Internet at the institution’s Web site.
