The workshop will present the key recommendations from the United Nations Methodological Guidelines on the Production of Statistics on Asset Ownership from a Gender Perspective, which provide national statistical agencies and policy makers with guidance on collecting, processing, analyzing and disseminating individual-level household survey data on asset ownership. Lessons learned from the seven EDGE pilot countries which tested the methodology will also be shared, with a view toward building the capacity of ECLAC countries to collect data on asset ownership at the individual level, including for the monitoring of selected SDG indicators.
