Urban October - Sustainable cities, housing and public transport: Visions from Latin America and Asia

A sustainable future with social, environmental and economic opportunities requires important efforts in which cities play a fundamental role. Articulated policies in urban connectivity have a great potential to promote a shift towards sustainability. For this, it is urgent to recover and strengthen the link between urban connectivity, land and housing. In this virtual meeting, Latin America and the Caribbean and Asia will share their views, experiences and challenges in this common challenge.
Moderated and supported by the ECLAC-BMZ / giz cooperation program through its Smart, inclusive and sustainable cities project within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
