The Sixth Meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in Bridgetown, Barbados, on October 31, 2024, in the framework of the XVI Ministerial Forum for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
This meeting will bring together all the authorities from the Ministries or Secretariats of Social Development and their equivalents, and the outcomes will be recorded in a report that will be distributed to all member countries of ECLAC. The Presiding Officers elected at the Fifth Regional Conference on Social Development of Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Santiago in October 2023 is constituted by Chair, and Vice-Chairs Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, and Venezuela (Bolivarian Rep. of).
