Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Launch PISA 2022
Background
The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and UNESCO Regional Office invite you to the regional launch of the OECD's 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). PISA measures the ability of 15-year-old students to use their knowledge and skills in reading, mathematics and science to meet real-life challenges. The last measurement was conducted in 2022 and 14 countries in this region participated: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
The objective of this event is to disseminate these results and promote their use to address the challenges that countries in the region face in relation to learning outcomes and to promote actions for an educational transformation to move towards inclusive and quality education.
